#167 - Things Editors Would Like To Say...

Many years ago I wrote a couple of articles for RedSharkNews about the things that Editors would like to say to Camera Operators and Directors.

I thought I'd revisit them in this issue of Cut/daily to see if I'd still say them today, and to see if you agree with me!

I have one Director friend who rails against the armchair critique of the editor, and to be fair "You weren't there man, you don't know!" hold's true.

So maybe one way to update "Why didn't you shoot _____?" is to ask "What was the thinking behind shooting it this way?" or some such.
