#263 - Over the shoulder Sound Design

One of my favourite ways to learn from someone else is to be able to peer over their shoulder and see how they did it, and to learn why they did it.

In today's issue of Cut/daily we'll be doing both those things, thanks to a neat little sound design tutorial from filmmaker Bryn North.

In this example, Bryn doesn't do anything mind-blowingly complex, but what he creates sounds good and is very effective.

Layering is definitely where the magic happens.

All the sounds by themselves are pretty simple and basic but once you start to add them on top of each other you really start to create this unique environment for your edits.

So someone worth listening to.
