Filmmaking isn't all that easy.

Lots of things can go wrong on the day and sometimes you don't even notice they've gone wrong, until it's too late.

One of the things that I love about Director David F. Sandberg's excellent YouTube channel, Ponysmasher, is that he openly shares his mistakes and then the lessons that can be learned from them.

That, and some really nice filmmaking tips and tricks editors can employ.

For example, there's a great tip in this 2 minute video about 'rocking and rolling' a clip with limited movement, when you need to extend a shot, which is a neat trick.
